What's on at Muskham Art Group in 2010

At the Muskham Art Group the emphasis is on friendly sharing of interests and experience. We do all we can to make sure that there is an informative programme of events.  We meet every second and fourth Tuesday at 09:45am to 12:15pm in South Muskham village hall.

At some meetings we have demonstrations by visiting professional artists on various topics. So far this year we have booked Vic Bearcroft on 23rd March to show us how he uses pastels to produce a stunning American Indian. Mike Webster is coming on 22nd June to demonstrate how to paint a seascape in acrylics.

When any more demonstrations have been confirmed thay will be posted here - so keep checking for the latest information as the site is updated.

Non-members are more than welcome to join us for demonstrations and workshops. Places are often limited for workshops so contact us early to make sure you get a place.

Ron Freeman

Ron Freeman will attend every other meeting to help all members with any problems they may be experiencing and to offer suggestions on how to improve and hone our skills.

Ron is a self taught artist; he paints landscapes, seascapes, animals and specializes in aviation art  He uses oils, water colours, pastels and acrylics.  Ron is a full member of the ‘Guild of Aviation Artists’ of  London.  He has exhibited in the Carisbrook and every year in the Mall galleries London. Ron also exhibits locally in and around Newark.

"Have a go at anything”, he says, “There is plenty out there - modern art, abstract, impressionism or just plain traditional subjects. Happy Painting!”

Please note: there are no Muskham Art Group meetings in the Village Hall on 
Jan 6th, Apr 7th, July 7th and Oct 6th.
